The Virginia Peninsula Coin Club (VPCC) was organized in 1953 with Glenn Elliott as the first president and was held at Fort Eustis staff conference room. Through the years the club has been featured on WVEC-TV Hampton, had its first female president Carolyn Gearhart in 1976, had guest speakers from the US Mint, held many coin shows and supported other coin clubs and shows.
Our club's mission is to encourage and promote interest in numismatics, to cultivate friendly relationships among collectors, students, Scouts and dealers, and to especially encourage and assist amateur collectors and to provide a time and place to buy, sell or trade coins.
The VPCC meets the 3rd Wednesday each month 7:00 pm at Angelo’s Steak and Pancake House at
755 J. Clyde Morris Blvd. Newport News, VA 23601
